Pro Bowling Ball
Bowling is for anyone who enjoys socializing with the added benefit of burning some calories in a climate controlled environment. With the introduction of Nintendo's Wii, even preschool age children to nursing home patients can still enjoy the sport of bowling. And let's not forget about adaptive bowling which allows physically challenged bowlers to enjoy the sport.
Equipment has really improved over the years. Composite bowling balls have replaced plastic house balls. Bowling balls generally used for throwing spares are still made of plastic, but come in a variety of custom shells. Viz-A-View has the largest selection of "spare" balls with designs including Harley Davidson, Budweiser, various NFL football teams, skulls, and more. Wrist supports come in a variety of styles and range in performance from basic support to fully adjustable depending on how much control you need. Bowling bags come complete with rollers, custom designs such as flame jobs and plenty of compartments. Instead of renting shoes, you'll find that owning your own pair is the way to go. Priced as low as $18.00 for a basic pair, they'll pay for themselves in no time.
My earliest memories include going to the bowling alley with my mother's friends and their children. From picking out a house bowling ball to granny bowling it down the lane off the bumpers, nothing else really ever held my attention in the early years. As a teenager, my friends and I would always pile in a car on Friday or Saturday so we could go moonlight bowling. It never mattered to us that we couldn't see the lanes with all the flashing lights and loud music. Actually it's still a lot of fun. Just recently one of my highest scores was beer and tequila induced 285, bowled during black light bowling at Jupiter Lanes in Florida. As an adult I enjoy bowling on NASCAR, baseball, and football leagues. Leagues are a great way to meet new people in the community. So round up a few friends and head to your local alley!
